The Inner Connection 2007 – 2008 Series
Coexistence: From Complacency to Action
SACRED ACTIVISM
Featuring Rabbi Rami Shapiro and Andrew Harvey
November 30 - December 1, 2007
In the words of Andrew Harvey, "The one hope for the future lies in Sacred Activism - the fusion of the deepest spiritual knowledge and passion with clear, wise, radical action in all the arenas of the world, inner and outer. We have very little time in which to awaken and transform ourselves, to be able to preserve the planet, and to heal the divisions between the powerful and the powerless.”
Andrew and Rabbi Rami will help participants explore this theme and provide a space for them to truly experience a whole new level of hope, meaning and engagement in their lives and within the world. This weekend invites people to experience and explore the work of sacred activism at a core level and create a community within which to do this. Each participant will be asked to commit to a personal program to take home with him or her and will be involved in ongoing communication with each other through the virtual community that will result from this ground breaking weekend. The workshop will transform, stimulate and enliven all involved through a range of spiritual tools and practices, journaling, dialogue, active commitment and mutual accountability. The power and impact of this weekend will be exponential!

Silence and Inquiry
2004
This weekend has been created by The Inner Connection: Gateway to the Now, a non-profit (501-c-3) corporation dedicated to supporting an individual¹s spiritual quest and attainment through education and experience. The intention of the weekend is to empower your natural Divine Essence and offer you the opportunity to come together with others of like mind. Through the wisdom, love and offerings of our presenters we will be guided and inspired to become a concentric circle of Light, emmanating our Spirit into our own communities and spheres of influence. In order to help us cope with the constant barrage we experience in all realms today, it is more crucial than ever to culitivate and nurture the still space that exists inside all of us. Participants of the weekend will access this through a wide range of experiences including movement, meditation, music, contemplation, inquiry and the sharing of community.

Tucson Mystical Path Conference
2003
Although many of the names were the same, the sessions had very unique and new flavors to them. This conference was highlighted by the return of Matthew Fox, Andrew Harvey, Wayne Teasdale, and Rami Shapiro and they were joined by Robert Thurman and Riane Eisler. Participants were brought to new levels of humor, intellect, compassion and challenge. As Andrew Harvey has said, the Mystical Path weekends are oxygen for the soul and this most recent one was no exception.
Pictures will be coming soon!

Houston Mystical Path Conference
2003
The magic of The Mystical Path continued in Houston in April 2003. We had attendees from California, Arizona, Texas, Connecticut, Lousianna and Tennessee. Most of our presenters joined us in Houston and we added two amazing sessions to the weekend. Our speaker roster was joined by J. Pittman McGehee who offered wisdom, laughter and simplicity to our weekend together. We also had the opportunity to experience Body Prayer with Russill Paul.He utilizes the Yoga of Sound, integrating movement, music and chanting.
Each Mystical Path has it’s own flavor and Houston was no exception. It was another unique time together, providing opportunity for exploration, evolution and fun!
Tucson Mystical Path Conference
2002
Tucson was the site of the first Mystical Path: Finding Intimacy with God conference. It was such an amazing and powerful weekend! We had over 250 in attendance from throughout the United States and Canada. The weekend included the teachings of Matthew Fox, Andrew Harvey, Rabbi Rami Shapiro, Brother Wayne Teasdale and Pir Zia combined with the music of Michael Green and The Illumination Band, Kirtana and Lisa Otey. Participants were treated to experiences that impacted body, mind and spirit.
There were so many high points throughout the weekend and participants had their favorite sessions, but the overwhelming favorite part of the weekend was the coming together in unity and having the opportunity to meet like minded souls. In addition, the weekend's theme turned out to be about spiritual activism. There was an energy wave created that has spurred many to become involved in a greater way in their own communities and spheres of influence. A passionate call to action was heard and responded to by individuals. Mystical Path groups have organically blossomed in Tucson to continue the enthusiasm inititated in the conference. It was much more than just a wonderful weekend, it was the beginning of a change in awareness and an increased action level on the part of many of our attendees. We were taken on many journeys by all of the speakers that began an alchemical process for many. Concentric circles of impact began that weekend and the reaches of this flow are infinite. You can enjoy looking at the picture gallery that captures some of the highlights.
